Eligible Applicants: The Arts Fund of Kalamazoo County provides operating support to arts organizations with a budget of $300,000 or less. Grants are generally restricted to arts organizations within Kalamazoo County. However, exceptions may be made for organizations outside the county if they reflect rural, ethnic, minority, or tribal traditions and/or have the potential of enriching the culture climate of Kalamazoo County.

Eligible Applicants: The Kalamazoo Artistic Development Initiative provides support to individual artists based on artistic quality (30%), benefit to the Kalamazoo community (25%), artist connection to Kalamazoo community (20%), and application/budget quality (25%). The grants are divided into two categories: Supporting Grants and Artistic Excellence Project Grants.

FY2011 - Kalamazoo Artist Development Initiative, Round 1 Workshop
September 15
Grant workshop is being held in conjunction with OnePlace at the Kalamazoo Public Library.

September 15, 2010 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM

First time applicants and those that have not received funding in the past are recommended to attend the entire workshop. Those wishing to gain information specifically for the Arts Fund may arrive at 3:30 PM.

Applicants must be a member of the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo to apply.
